St. Joseph Bay is an Aquatic Preserve in Florida, characterized by extensive seagrass beds and salt marshes. We started in Mexico Beach, spending the night in a gulfside motel room - serenated by waves heard thru the open window. Next large city was Port St Joe, lots of high dollar boats in the marina (guess that's how the other half lives). Followed down US98 to Cape San Blas and the north end tip of the peninsula, which is a state park. This was a boat docking area. Link to general facts about the Gulf of Mexico.
